Median may refer to:
- Median (sample) - the median of a sample is the middle value if they are arranged in order, if there's an even number then it is the average of the middle two.
- Median (random variable) - the middle value, if F is it's cumulative probability function then the median is F−1(12) - see also: order statistic
- Might need speak of the median of a distribution, as anything with a cumulative probability function surely has one!
